With a deep understanding of Oklahoma consumer protection laws and a strong record of client advocacy, we offer clear, practical guidance to help consumers resolve issues efficiently and assert their legal rights.

You don’t have to face this alone. We take the time to explain your rights, walk through your options, and build a strategy that puts your interests first. Areas of Practice

Auto Fraud, Dealer Fraud, Unfair Trade Practices

Many car dealerships exploit consumer trust by committing fraud, such as providing false information or hiding previous vehicle damage. You may be a victim of auto fraud if:

  • The dealership failed to disclose frame damage on the vehicle.
  • If you found the odometer had been rolled back.
  • If the dealership did not disclose previous flood damage.
  • If the dealership did not disclose the vehicle has a salvaged title.

Solar Panel Fraud

The number of consumers falling victim to Solar Companies fraudulent and deceitful sales tactics is rapidly growing each year. You may be a victim of Solar Panel fraud if:

  • You found your name was forged on the contract.
  • If you were not provided a copy of the contract.
  • You did not receive the promised tax benefits.
  • Your electricity remains the same or is higher than it was prior to the solar instillation.
  • The solar system does not work at all.

Debt Defense

Are you being sued by a debt collector? We have experience in both defending consumers throughout the process of litigation and negotiating settlement with these areas of debt defense:

  • Repossession Defense
Was your vehicle repossessed? Too often, dealerships and lenders act unlawfully when reprocessing your vehicle. You have rights and we are here to fight to protect those rights. We have experience defending consumers against the dealership and lenders.
  • Private Student Loan Defense
Oklahomans today are facing crippling debt due to student loans. We are ready to explore your options to dispute the loan or defend you if you are now being sued as a result of the debt. We have experience with litigation and negotiating settlement of debt from Private Student Loans.

Credit Report Errors

Credit report errors are all too common. That is why the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) was put in place to help protect consumers. If you have received your credit report and it has mistakes, it is important to dispute them as soon as possible to prevent them from doing any further damage to your credit. Credit report errors can wreak havoc on your credit score. When your credit score goes down, it could be costing you money. Credit Report Errors Can Cost You:

  • Higher insurance premiums
  • Higher interest rates
  • Loss of promotion or a job
  • Denial of a Home Mortgage Loan
  • Denial of a Rental Application
  • Denial of Credit

If you have tried to dispute mistakes and the credit reporting agency is not correcting them, it is time to get the help of the consumer protection lawyers at Oklahoma Consumer Law Firm. You may be entitled to damages for the errors on your credit report.

Bank Fraud, Unauthorized Transfers, and Account Misuse

When money disappears from your account without warning, the consequences can be devastating — and the response from your bank is often slow, dismissive, or nonexistent. Federal law requires banks to protect your funds and investigate unauthorized activity, but many consumers are left fighting for answers on their own. You may be a victim of bank fraud if:

  • Funds were withdrawn from your account without your authorization.
  • A known person accessed your account without your authorization.
  • The bank refused to investigate or refund a fraudulent Zelle or debit transaction.
  • You reported an issue, and the bank closed the case without providing evidence.
